Communication with other users is an important part of the Classwire experience. Classwire provides tools for sending and receiving messages with your students. It also includes chat rooms for virtual office hours, student discussion and peer-learning.

You can send messages to either individuals or selected groups. Certain groups are predefined, such as your classes, other instructors using a Garland Science book, and Garland Science employees. In addition, you may define your own mailing lists by using the features of the Address Book.
